Hi Eirescei,

I absolutely love this piece, it is utterly amazing.

I notice it is not available for purchase though, why is this? (I'm quite new to this site).

If there is a way to purchase it, please let me know, thanks.

Happy New Year!

Rapunzel :)

This site only sells prints, and I prefer to sell them on my own. The original actually is for sale.

The red petals really make this work 'burst' and there is beautiful contrast with the blue. Very talented! :)

I love this piece! The colors and lighting are eye catching and very realistic!:D I especially find your philosophy about your water series very interesting.

I was wondering, do you take pictures of the models underwater, or do you use a combination of references? (i.e. model and pictures of water)

Thank you! I take photos of the models underwater. For this one, I combined two slightly different photos and even that was difficult. There's so much unexpected detail that happens underwater. I couldn't make this stuff up. xD

This is breathtaking. I'm not even sure where to begin. I guess first your style, your "under water" paintings are so unique and just amazing in the use of light and color. You have captured everything here. The free floating hair of the subject, her pursed lips and distended cheek illustrating her breath holding. But what I find most amazing is the light coming through the water, broken up through the ripples and seemingly dancing across her arm and face. It looks as if the surface of the water almost signifies another dimension of her life that she is reaching through. A rebirth into her new world.
Your works are more amazing than anything I think I have seen on her. I will surely be back to study your paintings in great detail. I look forward to seeing more.

I can't believe how few faves you have! Your art is simply stunning--beyond words. You deserve much more credit than you get. The way you make water seem so realistic yet keep the colors so vivid and bright is amazing.
